I noticed before that everyone helped with ideas for names. Does anyone have any ideas for naming these prints? I wanted to spend more time with selecting images and naming them however with all the bridal shows I’ve been swamped. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for all you help …
So who is planning on going to this years WPPI convention again?? I’d like to try to meet everyone this time. Please let me know so we can all make plans to get together. You can message and send me your cell phone number or something so we can message one another or have a way to connect.
I had to post this; our friends posted this and it’s sooo darn cute!!!
I’d like to take this time to wish all our friends, xanga friends, clients, family and everyone a Happy Holiday.
I’ve had a lot on my mind lately with my Mom passing. I’m trying to move forward and hoping that this upcoming year will bring much happiness and wishing the same for everyone. The sun is shining today and things are looking brighter. Thank you to all your kind words. May God Bless you all!!
Have a Happy New Year and God Bless,
Cathy Ann and Scott
I’m deeply saddened to say my Mom, Margaret Walitalo passed away from her battle with cancer. Mom passed away on December 1st, at 1:30 am at her home.
I first learned of the news back in March right before we went to the WPPI convention in Las Vegas. It was hard to feel excited about going to the conference. I remember as I was walking through the trade show and feeling like I wasn’t into all the excitement of the conference and being there; when the first friendly face I ran into was Missy; now married to Gary Fong. I never had the pleasure of meeting Missy in person before; only through our blog. Missy didn’t hesitate to try to make me feel better. She gave me a big hug and asked me to join her in going to see the the next speaker. To my surprise, it was the same one I was going to see. Bob Davis . It was great; she introduced me to a bunch of her close friends; including Jessica Strickland . It helped to get my mind off of things and smile again. Thank you Missy for being such a dear friend. You were there when I truly needed a friend. I’ll never forget that. We are planning our trip to the upcoming WPPI convention again and this time we won’t be traveling to Arizona first to see Mom before we head to Las Vegas. It just won’t be the same. Here is a link to Mom’s pictures and celebration of her life.
What are your thoughts on todays photography market. Things have changed since the film days. What are your thoughts; is it better or worse for our industry? Everyone has an opinion. Let’s hear your view.
Here is an ad Scott and I designed and placed recently. I can’t wait to see it in print. Let me know what you think …
I know its been awhile since I’ve done any posting on our BLOG. Here are some favorites from Mike and Nicole’s Wedding. Enjoy!!
I just returned from taking care of my Mom for a while and she has just been updated to liquid pain meds. It’s so hard to see them like this. So frail and in pain. My heart breaks for her. She didn’t want me to leave. I’ll be going back to see her soon and help take care of her again soon. When I got there Mom’s weight was only 91 pounds; I got her to eat and had her up to 96 pounds. We are praying she makes it through the holidays. Remember to spend as much time as possible with your family. You never know when something like this can happen.
Thank you Nicholas and Brittney for including us in your day. The ceremony was beautiful and the day was perfect. I’m so glad we were able to get the images downtown. The reception was held at the Hilton in downtown Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Be sure to check back for more images.
